Slow Stitch & Cake with Textile Artist Melinda Schwakhofer– meets once monthly beginning on

16 September, 14 October and 11 November

Slow Stitch and Cake is gentle, unstructured session to sit and stitch together. 

Slow Stitch is a meditative and mindful practice where the process of the movement of needle and thread through fabric is as important, if not more so, than the goal of producing a finished piece of work.  You will learn some basics of hand stitching and some new stitches, but the emphasis is on letting your creativity unfold.

Bring your own hand sewing or Melinda will have some prompts and ideas to get you started.

Suitable for beginning to advanced stitchers.  One to one tuition as needed. 
Materials provided. 

COVID safety measures will be observed.

Homemade cake and tea/coffee provided. Upstairs at GREEN HILL ARTS. Sessions run from 10-12.30pm.
