Young Adult Carers - Peer Support Group

Are you aged between 18 – 24 and care, unpaid, for a family member or friend with an illness or disability, mental health condition or an addiction?

Join us on the 19th of November as we invite you to meet other Young Adult Carers, find out what support is available to you, and to discuss new ideas to help you cope. Free refreshments will be served from 3:30pm, and the session will start at 4:00pm.

As an unpaid carer, knowing your rights empowers you with information about what you’re entitled to. This helps you to feel confident when asking for what you need,  as well as challenging things when your rights are not being met – whether that be in the workplace or education, in accessing health or social care, or interacting with other professionals or at home.
