Moreton's Phone Box Project
You’d be surprised what phone boxes around the country have been used for - from book swap libraries to housing defibrillators!
Wellmoor is very excited to announce that it will be taking over Moretonhampstead’s disused phone box for the next year and opening it up to the community as an accessible space for all to demonstrate their skills, share their interests, provide public services and engage people.
The Phone Box will be available to ‘book out’ by local individuals, groups and organisations throughout the year, for either one-off day events, or longer “residencies” of a fortnight or month. The challenge for those taking part is to come up with a “big idea for a tiny space” and we hope to see a range of different creative ideas to fill the space. Everyone is welcome!
