Wellmoor’s Check-Mate project and West Devon CVS are working together to set-up an Andy’s Man Club in Okehampton. The male suicide rate in the Okehampton and North Dartmoor area is worryingly high. Andy’s Man Club is a national organisation that runs over 160 free weekly support groups across the country, providing a space for men where they can open up about the storms affecting their lives in a judgement-free and non-clinical environment.
