International Carers Week 2024

Carers Week has been taking place across the UK from Monday 10th to Sunday 16th June 2024.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t see themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support. This year’s theme is ‘Putting Carers on the Map.’

We have been posting every day with information for Carers, what we are doing to support them and what other support is out there.

A Carer is anyone who cares for a friend or family member who, due to illness, disability, mental health concern or an addiction, cannot cope without their support.
